The goals of the Main Lobby and Admitting project included upgrading the finishes and general character of the primary entrance to the hospital as well as implementing privacy screening meeting the new HIPPA guidelines. The information and guidance functions were given more prominance, while a more discrete security office was added. Visitors are therefore more observed and monitored while wayfinding is enhanced.
